MAKE YOUR OWN VALENTINE'S DAY CARDS

Instructed by KunChe Lu, students will create a set of 50 letterpress cards with UNO’s eclectic collection of metal ornaments and unique wood type. Students will learn the basics of setting type and operation of the Vandercook 4 proofing press. In addition to printing instructions, many other facets of letterpress printing will be discussed; such as modern use of the letterpress technology, resources and materials, as well as alternative printing techniques.

Fees are $200 for workshop + $35 for materials
Class is limited to 4 students for a personal-learning environment
